Strawberry Fields Estates, LLC, is a residential development comprised of several housing types and is located on Somerset Avenue in Dighton, MA. The housing types include single family home subdivision, townhouses and small detached cottage units. There are 52 single family homes, 38 townhouses, and 26 cottages, totaling 116 units within the development. The project was permitted under the Commonwealth’s Affordable Housing Zoning law, also known as a Chapter 40B development. The proposed roads will include all of the required infrastructure and utilities to support the new development. The project will result in approximately 6,049 linear feet of new bituminous roadway, with 22 feet of pavement width and 1 foot Cape Cod berms on each side, a 5 foot wide sidewalk on one side. JDE worked with the developer, and their attorneys and subconsultants to gain the necessary Comprehensive Permit from the Dighton Zoning Board of Appeals.
