Deveney Energy Propane Distribution Facility Bridgew MA

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Devaney Energy, Inc. has been the trusted leader in delivering residential and commercial energy solutions since 1934. To support their expansion of their propane delivery service, they found a site in Bridgewater, MA to build a propane distribution facility. The facility consists of two buildings a 5,000 sf office building and a 4,200 garage building, three 30,000 gallon propane storage tanks, gravel outside storage area for an inventory of propane tanks to be installed at customer’s homes and businesses, associated site improvements and infrastructure, and truck loading and parking areas. The site also included an above ground diesel tank for fueling their delivery trucks. JDE worked with Devaney Energy and their Land Use and Zoning Attorney to get the project approvals including a Request for Determination of Applicability (RDA) filing with the Conservation Commission, Site Plan Review with the Planning Board and approval for the diesel refueling tank with Town Council. Construction period services included developing a Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP), inspections of completed work, and coordination with the contractor and Town officials.
